So I decided to fill the tank with water and fish from the backyard, and everything was going to plan when we had that huge rainstorm. Now, the sea robins have already started to migrate to warmer waters, and I can't find a porgy or sea bass small enough to be comfy in a 75 gallon.

I currently have a bunch of killies and naked gobies, which are very cool, but I won't hesitate to throw a lizard fish or sea robin in if I find one. What crappy luck, I'm hoping to find something cool this weekend. I was going to do a flounder, but they really need a colder tank.

Anyone else have native salts? Please share

Good luck.

im currently keeping a baby grouper and have kept snook, snapper, baby sheepies, grunts and more. my buddy has a snook, pompano, sea robin, and flounder. they are all bad ***

Thanks Fellas!

FAFF - The water got cold after that huge storm, and all the robins seem to have cleared out, lizard fish too. I have some glass shrimp, green crabs, mummies, & 4 naked gobies which are a trip! I need some new fish traps, we'll see what comes up then. All the best - Craig

Hey cool! Native Salts are awesome!
I am from Aus so i have different salts here, but they are generally the same, we have a fish similar to the robin too but theyre called Gurnards/Lachets, i would love to create an Aussie native Salt tank!

There are so many beautiful and colourful fish around here!
Here is a pic of a Gurnard i found on the net! We can get these around me.

Thats one cool lookin fish, his fins are colorfull.

Cool, someone caught a flying gunard off of LI this summer. It seems a lot of robins have moved south, I'll give it one more go this weekend!

how about baby kingfish u have thos by you? a buddy of mine has two flounders, a weakfish, and a female kingfish. the kingfish is aggresive

Just be careful with the sport fish... regulations and such. Oyster dogs aka toadfish are cool fish, but will eat anything they can get their mouths around. How far up the coast are you? Any files or triggers in your area?

Where do you live? I live in South Eastern North Carolina and we catch flounder in water that's in the 80's every summer. I've caught and kept many flounder in aquariums, probably one of the toughest fish you will ever keep, around here some of them even come into freshwater. a local freshwater lake is semi-famous for it's large flounder population.
