i've read a real good article on the brook trout in the german datz this month
i am wondering if there are any other of your native fish that could survive in a minimum6x2x2 tank outside in my garden during the winter

i'm especially interested in brook trout and largemouth bass
bow fin is also a option but with new legislation i have to check with the authorities about a licence first
your channa argus experience has scared britain into licencing most foreign fish that could live and breed in our climate

after having to give up the hobby due to rising electric prizes last year i'm really keen to set up a cold water tank in the garden

thanx in advance

make sure the outdoor tank aint glass as if it freezes youll break the glass

as long as the water moves fast it con't freeze
it doesn't get that cold over here to freeze fast moving water
should fast moving water be a problem with some species i can always move them into the garage for the winter and drain the tank
i'm not planning on a pond
if that was the case i would consider koi or something along those lines as they are made for viewing from above

great link mate

i think i can find everything i need to know there

thanx
ur a top guy
