native tide pool idea

i want to set up a 20 long gal native tide pool id plan on taking the water from the same beach that i got them from i want to know what i would need as for animals i wanted an anemonie, snails, hermit crabs,a small eel, some of the little fish, a bunch of muscles,and some sort of plants and may be some crabs. whats ok whats not?

all sounds good except for that tank size

use synthetic salt instead and try to duplicate the water conditions.

where are you from? (collecting from?)
 
oh yeah a 20 is no good for an eel
(somehow i didn't see that in the other one.)
 
i tried that in the uk worked fine but i found collecting water near shore to be polluted but i had a friend with a boat who collect offshore water for water changes. The only other problem you may have is keeping it cool in summer but most tidal species are adapted to cope with fluctuations but dont get lazy cos of that.
