Natural Dried Seaweed - Anyone feed this to there cichlids?

I just saw this at petco and I wanted to try and see if my peacocks would eat it. Man they are loving this stuff!! Just want to get people's input if they ever tried this stuff.

Yeah, I feed it to my mbuna several times a week. They love it, but my filters don't haha

Lol. How much if it do you give your cichlids? I folded 1 leaf and put it on a clip.

I usually feed a 5"x3" piece to them twice a week. I fold it up into a small square and stick it in a veggie clip so it stays together better, (they tend to just rip it to shreds and make a huge mess anyway haha).

I have tried it in my Malawi tank and they weren't interested. There are videos on YouTube of Africans going nuts over that stuff.

I feed it to my africans. They love it! I use the stuff you buy in the market for human consumption. We make a lot of sushi at home. mmmm good!

If you try it out, please give us an update on response from fish to the seaweed. Novel idea.

my fish prefer their pellets and flake but will taste it. it's a lot cheaper at the asian market, they also have whole kelp that my plecos like.

I fed them the seaweed again today and they really like it. I'm going to give them this twice a week as a treat.
