how does one wash rocks??

thats what friends are for!
homedepot and lowes here i come!
btw what do u guys prefer??
in all my years of keepin fish i always had sand.
first time trying gravel.
wats more appealing to the eye?

it all depends on how ur scape ur tank. if u r lookin for a fast stream looking, then gravel would b nice along with some bigger river rocks. but if u r goin for an amazonia style, i would say sand will look better. also if u r thinkin about havin some live plants then sand will be better than gravel

Forget Lowes and Home Depot. Bring a couple of buckets to my house. I'll give you for FREE! I'll be home after 3:30, and it's better you come before daylight is gone, since there's black widow spider in my yard
