Which fish usually has the bigger and better looking Nauchal hump of the two Midas or Red Devil???

They both grow a huge nauchal hump. I think from what i've seen the Midas has a bigger nauchal hump over all but theses day alot of RD's are hybreds of midas/RD..Both are very similar in size,shape and color with only minor differences.
If we're talking pure breed fish the Midas will in most cases have the larger hump. If you really want big go Xilo.
yeah what aquanero said, pure devils actually aren't supposed to grow that large of nuchal humps its more the midas that grow the large humps
OK so I shouldnt expect the Rd I have to get a big hump on his head??? Maybe I should get a Midas from rapps when I get my bigger tank. The Xilo is in the same group as the Midas and RD right???

Yes, the RD will get a NH just not huge, Midas is always a good choice IMO and a Xilo is also an Amphilophus in the Midas complex, stays a little smaller but gets a big NH.
