NC for BGK?

I searched the archives but couldnt really find a positive yes or no so I I'm just gonna ask:

Are nightcrawlers (about7-8") too big for a 9-10" BGK to eat?It likes live BW but I think it kinda needs something else in its diet.

mine eats bloodworms, shrimp pellets, ghost shrimp.

A nightcrawler that size might be a bit big for him.

yeah your right I wnet and got some and he really did want to eat it but it was just too big for him.Had to try...I had never seen them eat something big but some people say they will eat small guppies or whatever so I thought maybe it was capable of tearing or chewing the worm up,but it just picked it uop and dropped it a fw times.

Im feeding mine tubifex worms, ans sinking pellets. But I have some ghost shrimps and small wild guppies in the tank incase he wants to eat them, but I doubt he'll eat them coz he's still 5-6 inches long. He's also a tankmate of 2 small senegal bichirs.

I left the worm in there,between him and my tire track they eventually got it down.

Exactly - cut them up. Frozen market shrimp was my BGK's favorite food. It also used to really like defrosted shelled peas.
