Nearly free Java fern?

I often hear people consider java fern to be almost like a weed as far as aquatic plants are concerned. If this is the case, does anyone have an idea of where I could get a large quantity of it at low cost? There are only 3 legitimate LFS in my area, all of which sell a small amount for rip off prices. I think the plant is attractive, but I won't pay $20 for a 3x3 inch mat of it.

have you tried ebay and aquabid, along with the MFK marketplace and vendors sections?

There are a LOT of places that sell live aquarium plants online for great prices. I was going to mention both ebay and aquabid, but there a literally a ton of them lol.

By the time you add in shipping you've probably paid close to $20. Just think of it this way, pay the $20 and you'll never have to buy it again.

I've never ordered fish or plants so I only done moderate research on shipping but was under the impression that shipping for 1 plant or 6 plants is basically the same so if you can get all your plants in 1 order your not getting hit as hard. Is this accurate?
