Not sure where to post this.

The Nebraska Chapter of MCA is hosting a swap meet from 1:00 to 4:00 PM today, January 23rd. It will be held at the following location:

Fish Freaks
10711 Mockingbird Dr
Omaha NE 68127

There will be several sellers and from the lists I have seen so far, there's going to be some amazing fish up for auction. Plus it looks like there are going to be several tanks, filters, etc.

We got a lot of snow last night, but the roads look OK. If you're in Omaha or surrounding area, stop on by :)
 
curious as to what you'll be showing us, afterwards!
 
Thanks Miguel. Unfortunately, I am already over-stocked in every tank. I will probably pick up a few fish, but not near as many as I want lol! I hear there are going to be a few tank set ups for sale too. Hmmm...:D
 
Git and buy a complete set up! So no worries, there about overstocking
 
So much fail! I was doing good until the auction itself started. I bought several types of plants including some interesting kelp looking stuff. I bought some sponge filters, some cichlid/pleco caves and even some nice big shells for my shell dwellers. I then bought 3 albino bristlenose and some assassin snails. All in all, I was pretty proud of my self control.

Then the auction started :)

I ended up with 6 bags of fish! Two bags are small groups of fry. The other bags were adult Cichlids. To be honest, I don't even remember what I bought. But, once I get them acclimated, I will add them to my list of documented fish I'm keeping. At $5 a bag for (2) $35 fish, I couldn't pass them up!

Oh, I did get another tank. Nothing exciting, but I have plenty of room again :)

I wish it was here... I love going to swaps and to be at Mike's shop as well... By the way tell him i need a large shirt. The other is way too big now. i would love to sport it for events.

You got it. I am going to go back on Wednesday to pick up my Aro. What is your target shirt size? Have you been to the new store yet? It's amazing! He did a fantastic job planning it. I can spend hours in there and still not be quite ready to leave.

When you all have a meet at your Chapter, I'll head out to meet you, Pharoah and the others.
