Need 3' Bookshelf Aquarium/refugium

I am looking a for a long bookshelf style tank around 36" long.
I am wanting to put in over my tilapia tank and make it into a refugium full of live sand, macro algae, copepods, plants, etc.
I just don't want to break the bank to get one.
Also, it you have ideas for other containers that will work post ideas.

Go to your local garden centre. They have those long trough type planters made of plastic. A lot of hobbyists use them for various filtration ideas. Easily drilled too if need be.

Considering.... it may be too heavy to safely put on top of my tank....

Can you mount a shelf on the wall and set it on the shelf? That might prevent any worry about weight on top of the current tank.

I was waiting for PetCo to put their aquariums on sale for Christmas. I am going to buy a couple of 20g long tanks for $20.
Thought I would share it here. They have 10g tanks for $10 too. I think they have a 29g for $29
Of course the larger tanks are not a dollar per gallon.
They do have 55g for $75 & 75g for $105
The 20g tanks measures L 30.5" x H 13" x W 13"
That will be perfect for b refugium project...
