Well my cheapass 800gph pond pump has finally bit the dust, so I'm running a 200gl tank with a ridiculous Quietone 9000 pump right now, that completely overpowers the filter overflows, not to mention the noise...
I want to get back to the 750-1000gph range in a submersible pump. I'm thinking I should be able to do this for $50-60, but I don't want another pump that will give me more headaches. I looked at the Quietone 3000 - anyone have experience with this pump?
Oh yeah, I live in northern Canada, so it's gonna have to be available via mail order!
