Ok So I have my 75g matumbi hunter tank. But it's lacking something. I need a good bottom dweller. What do you think would be good?

Here's pic for reference. Just subtract the 7 makobe islands. They are gone now.

featherfin synodontises always get along with rift lake cichlids well. They get fairly large and i suggest a bigger one that can hold its own, they do most of their foraging at night.

Yeah Not too big of a fan of synodontis cats. Thanks though.

They are a lot of different synodontis. Do you not like the bigger, more common ones or just not like any of them?

One of my favorite are the petricola.

I have 3 of them and like them much better than the eupterus I have. Unfortunately, they stay hidden almost all the time while the eupterus are visible most times.

Some people think it is taboo, but I also have 3 clown loaches in my Malawi tank.

Bichirs perharps, Not sure how the cichlids would react though.

Get one which is big enough to feud of bullies

I've Got a royal pleco in there, forgot to mention. Won't put bichirs in an african tank. I think I found what I'm going to get. A friends store just got in african mustache cats.

3" is big?
