so i have a 75 gallon and i know i wanna do a frontosa and some smallerish africans. but i need a centerpiece fish, i would kill for an mbu puffer but i could never properly house it and no puffer that gets a respectable size seem to be suitable for a community. im all for upgrading, but not to a 1,000 gallon tank. so i need some ideas. please help.

im more about the bottom dwellers but if it were up to me i would go with a peacock of some sort. if my tank weren't stocked the way it is i would have 1 or 2 myslef
yeah, im willing to upgrade, just not enough to house a mbu. i like fronts alot, but i want something with alot of personality that will swim around. the front is prolly gonna hide alot and be relativally skiddish.
My big male is out all the tank... He only hids once in a while. When they get big they will stay out. Mpimwbe are the most out going fronts. They will be out and come to you to feed.
