Need A Cichla EXPERT!

Was in a local fish store yesterday and saw a tank with what was an obvious Peacock bass that was marked for 49.99, This store is notirious for overpricing and not taking care of there fish. it was a beautiful fish and wish i was able to take a picture of it. it looked like it had so much potential and I wanted to buy it and bring it home and nurse it back to full health. The name it had on it was "Loumonani" not sure what kind of Cichla that is. hoping someone here can help me :) thank you!
 
It was an easy 6-7 inches. he was very nice looking but was inside a 10 gallon tank with a giant pleco. 2 "gator gars" (obvious florida gars) and some longnose gars. He didn't look very happy. Very nice darkish metallic color. I'm going to take a picture tommorow and i'll post it!
