Need a fossil ID. Where's Oddball?

I was given this fossil several years ago by a teacher but have never been 100% sure what it is. I was told it is a fish and I can see what appears to be ribs and a vertebrate. I am pretty sure the matrix is limestone and if I recall correctly the fossil came from Germany. Thanks in advance!

It doesn't look like Solnhofen sublithographic limestone. The piece looks more like eocene material from the Green River formation in the US. The piece is a 'blown' fish replacement. Meaning the fish decomposed and partly disarticulated before the fossilization process could begin. A rough guess from the fin ray sizes and general body shape indicates the species to lean towards Priscacara sp.
