So my two Jewels were supposed to be a breeding pair when I got them. Well the female does her part every two weeks. She lays about 100 eggs. Then after a few days they turn white and the mom/dad eats them up. I'm guessing they don't get fertilized when they're laid. I've had them for almost 3 months and this has happened about 5 times now. There are no other fish in the 40g tank. I set it up specifically to breed them. I still do 20% PWC every week even though it doesn't really need it.
So my question is anyone got some male Jewels they're willing to stud out?
