ok im going to be reseting up my 75 gallon amazon tank im wanting to do pfs substrate, drift wood and clay pot, an possibly some real plants would this stock be ok
geo altifons x2
geo suranamis x2
geo jurupari x2
geo tapajos orangeheads x2
one heros natautus x1

i have two fluval 404s, and a ac 110 for filtration thankyou for the help

Looks good, although personally I'd skip the altifrons and get more of the other two Geo. species. And I don't think you need any pots with this list.

Where are you getting your suranamis from?

ok thanks um idk yet im just picking out my stock list will do the hunting later lol. i will prolly look into jeff rapps and such and see what i can find do you have any other advice

You are probably going to get something else (eg. abalios) mislabeled as suranamis...

Seems to be what's going around these days..

I would also skip out the Altifrons, they'll get too big with that stock and tank imo. Also the clay pots are really just used for territorial aspects, and with these species that really isn't a problem.. And make sure to really clean that pool filter sand as best you can.

And not to be snotty, but Jurupari are Satanoperca, not Geophagus!

sorry for the mistake i wasnt aware of this jurupari are labeled geos at my lfs my apologies are they some kind of subspecies

No apologies man..

They're all in the eartheater group.. Geophagus, Satanoperca, Acarichthys.. With all the different species labeled under those as well.
