hi all,
First of all I just found this site and love it! I have been a marine enthusiast most my life. I even had a big tank 11 years ago but travel killed it and and i gave my tank to brother who houses a monster fish. (don't ask me what kind its fresh water and i was marine but it like 18inchs long . my tank was 180gal. right now i cannot afford tank that size.
Well here goes my question or questions
:
I have an Eclipse 12. (got it free next to the dumpster) the pump is not working on it. i found the pump but for 28 dollars that doesn't include shipping. is there anyway i can fix this pump. The impeller has lots of magnet left to it it is not weak.
Basically I want to get it running so i can start the process to get back in to the hobby again and teach my kids. (I water one of those small reefs)
I don't have much money so where i can save i will (this is temporary for now). as soon as i show wife how see beautiful this hobby is, I will go for my big project, a 240gal or above reef aquarium. (and money become more prevalent)
Thanks,
Exor
