ok, im building a tank to fit one of the walls in my house. it will be 8'L x 2'H x 2'W... my question is... what would be the best kinds of fish to put in it...? i want aggressive fish, but not too aggressive so there can be more than one in a tank like ,umbee,dovii..., i want active fish, so that feeding time is not the only exciting time, (like with my RBP's...) an i want to have at least 8 fish in total, so they cant be something that gets toooo big..., ( i guess i basically want a tank full of ''miniture'' umbee that will not kill eachother, just everything else i throw in...) are there any 8'' to 12'' fish out there that would sh*t kick a full grown umbee or dovii...? OR should i just fill the tank with P's...? any suggestions would be great, THANKS...

i think an arowana is what your looking for, they only eat what fits in there mouths, you can keep more then one, and keep it with other fish their size, they can be agressive at feeding time.

plus i think there cool lol. maybe a ray or some dats? <- them common monster friends.

 couple hundred neons :WHOA: ? 8 bettas with 7 dividers  ? maybe a bunch of Parrots or severums? Why not a school of different color Tiger barbs,(normal, Green, Albino, etc.)? What about Angelfish, Killi's, Clown Loaches, Eels, Silver Dollars, Oscars, African Cichlid Community, etc...? DUDE you have tons of choices here, with a tank that big and long you have many avenues to choose from.
:mwave:
P.S. I still like the Humongous School of Neons :naughty:

Some Crenicichla! Crenicichla Venezuela, Tapajos Red, or the True Parrot cichlid. Go for about 50 German Blue Rams, 10 Discus, and 4 dozen Cories, and about 50-60 Rummynose tetras.

Look at all the pictures of peacock cichlids on this site... Those would be perfect. You can have more than one and as long as you get something else that is too big to be messed with, you're good. You have alot of options, so go with your imagination. But get peacocks and take pictures. those things are nice.

arowanas, clown knife, some different cats, maybe a jag or 2.....really all depends on what you like and what you are willing to risk losing.

fill it with driftwood, plants and river stone. a black aro with three or four different sevs, one or two blood parrots, some weird cats or something maybe juruense, add a scarlet pleco or two and possibly a royal green terror. tons of color and a lot of activity. i would even throw in an elecrtric blue dempsey. a very "fun" tank IMO. im not sure if the green terror would harass the juruense though.
