Well my contract with tmobile is finally gonna end next month and im looking forward to a new service and phone. Right now i have a Sidekick 08, i really like the full keyboard and internet. Anyways, Im having some trouble figuring out which new one will work well for me.

I dont have any friends with an iphone or nv3, nv touch, or the diamond. So im asking MFK!

What phones have great TXT, quick internet, and media things. I rarely talk on the phone, my job takes up enough time that i can usually just txt.

anyways, any first hand info on the iphone, iphone 3g, or any other full QWERTY keyboard/internet phones

thanks!!

Kind of depends on what service you are going to choose. If you stay with t-mobile I would go with the G1. I love mine.

i got friends with ATT and they love there iphones.... i have friends with verizon who love there BB storms... i know people with the env and they love it.. best bet is to go to the stores and play with the phones...

I have an iphone 3g and love it, I would not get any other touchscreen phone (I have screwed around with most of the others and they dont compare to the iphone IMO).

My girlfriend just got the T-mobile mytouch 3g, its a pretty nice phone and she has been really happy with it so far, but I still prefer the iphone.

I dunno if you would like it or not becaus eit isn't touch screen, but the best phone I ever had/have is the Motorola Q Global. The battery life is unbelieveable, the camera kicks @ss, and the reception is the best I've had. I will never go back to touchscreen after using this thing. I text a lot so I can always have conversations saved to keep my butt out of trouble with the bosses. This is one of the few phones that can keep up with me even when the little keyboard starts smokin lol. Also I have dropped it a few times and I have NEVER HAD TO TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND REINSERT THE SIM!!!!! This was a big problem I've had with other phones. I talk over 1500 Min a month and I only charge this thing once every other day and have gone 3 days without. It also came with another battery which helps me when I am out of country on some freekin remote island without a means to charge up. 3G and the internet is as fast or faster than my girl's i phone.... Just my 2cents

unless your prepared for a huge monthly fee avoid the iphone, its pretty ridiculous, i would go verizon, best deals in my opinion.

iphone monthly fes are ridiculous, just like firemouth1 said, and their touch keyboard sucks.... my ipod touch has a touch keyboard when im on the internet, and its very easy to press the wrong keys, without noticing...

My iphone is through my work, so I am not entirely sure how much it costs monthly. I looked at the plans online for the iphone vs the blackberry storm on verizon, the storm on verizon appeared to be more costly monthly.

I would totally disagree that the touch screen sucks though, yeah it may not be as good as a real physical keyboard, but I have no issue with the touchscreen and IMO it is a lot better than all other touch screen phones.

hmm... i seem to make more type-os on the touch screen than on a regular keyboard. maybe it just takes some getting used to.

I had a moto Q and hated it. I now have an iphone and it's ok. It's pretty over rated if you ask me. It has some cool features, but itunes pisses me off. I'm not a huge fan of typing or texting on it which is unfortunate because I send a lot of emails since it's my mobile office.

It does have GPS and I have topographical lake maps that work with that, so the suck is counteracted by that:)
