I usually see these labeled as Albino Chocolate Pleco, and that what I bought as, but it has some similarities to rhino plecos I've seen.I haven't been able to find much info with the labeled name so I was hoping somebody would know the scientific name or #

It is currently being listed under as a Pterygoplichthys Pardalis (albino-ish version).

I personally question if this is correct, as they don't seem the same, The biggest I've seen these get is 15 inches and they are much skinner then a P.
Pardalis of the same size. Plus, I find them very bashful as the P. Pardalis tend to be the most outgoing pleco of all.

Rhino and chocolate pleco's are the same fish, Pterygoplichthys scrophus, which is what yours seems to be, unless its eyes are red, in which case it will be an albino p. pardallis

Looks like my chocolate.

Thanks all. That planetcatfish link pretty much seals it. A few of the pics show a very different head shape but the last one is definitely my fish.
Whats strange is that I went by a petsmart earlier today and they had some tiny ones, a couple of which were stark white as opposed to the dark orange on mine. You could see the pattern shown on the non albinos coming through a little on the white ones but mine is pretty solid. It seems almost xanthic to me, but hey whatever. Any ideas on sex, or how to sex?
