I just picked up a breeding colony (20+) of Lamprologus multifasciatus. I was wondering if there was something that I could put in with them that wouldn't kill them all. Let me know if, and what my options are. Thanks.

Might want to try a larger footprint...

J/K. Cyps. are a good choice. What kind of decor, is in the tank?

Rainbows make for good non-cichlid action. Barbs will also fill the mid-upper levels.

The decor will be basically a lot of rock in the back of the tank, open in the front for all of the shells and shellies. I'm trying to keep it all Tanganyikan so rainbows and barbs wouldn't do. I'm thinking some calvus for fry control and mid level swimming. Then some (9) cyps for top level swimming. Thinking microlepidotus or leptosoma. I just picked up the shellies and there are about 25 of them. Plus an unknown number of fry too. Think it's gonna look pretty cool when it's done. Even though it a big tank just for shellies.
