I have a 60 gallon tank with 9 piranhas at 3 to 4 inches in size. Im wanting to add more. Is that a good idea? And how long do you think it will take in that tank for them to be full grown?
Thank you

I really hope that you plan on buying a larger tank since they say to give a Red belly 20g each... If you really want to add more I would suggest you look into buying/building a 220 or larger. If you want to know how long it will take them to become "full grown" in a 60... well most likely they wont grow right unless they start to eat each other until there is plenty of room, maybe 3 to 5 of the strongest or maybe only one will make it. But it right conditions a Red belly should grow 5-8" in the first year and an inch a year after that. If your not going to upgrade you shouldn't be looking into more, you should be trying to find someone to take the ones in your tank when they get a little bigger and require more room.
