Need advice asap!!!

Just for the bg color of my 2.5k tank. Should i go full black borders and bottom or dark blue??

Id be keeping both dark, silver and other colorful fishes here.

Blue is the way to go to show different colours ,that's also why koi dealers use blue bowls to show their fish

My old 500g was my only blue tank ive had and I much prefer black

If it is outside it does not matter because algae will cover it all.

Black as blue looks like crap once it's covered in algae. Can't say for the bottom as I never had or wanted a bare bottom tank as it looks too artificial and unnatural!

Most says black and one blue with a valid point. Ughh.. Im leaning on black myself but for example in my other tank, sometimes its hard to see my wallago... And hes gonna be one of its main inhabitants..:/

With re to algae, i got a uv to try and help minimize it

I personally painted all my tanks Mediterranean blue and love it. Blacks alright but I personally think any fish looks better with a blue back ground.
