I have this pretty cool offer, let me know what you guys think. My buddy has a 75 gal bow front, wooden tank stand, salt water with 100 lbs of live rock and crushed coral. 2 clown fish a dog face puffer and a yellow tang. he will do an even exchange for a 55 with metal stand. The catcher is he wants my black arowana. deal or no deal?????

personally, I wouldnt do it. I just dont think i could get as much enjoyment as i do with any arowana.
I also dont really care for saltwater.
if you like salt and dont care about losing an aro....its a good deal

Id say its a good deal. That dogface puffer will be intresting to watch. Ive done trades before and I like the presence of a different tank. None of those fish are hard to come by, depends on where you live, but you are getting a bigger tank. Sell off the salt stuff and keep the 75 bow.

Black arowanas are getting rarer and rarer to find due to the banned export from Brazil.

The saltwater fishes that you would get from the deal are just your average everyday fish you can buy any day.

I wouldn't do it.

Id have to say keep the arro and get him a bigger tank....bigger than that 75!
