Hello,
Been keeping 4 monos and 4 tems for the last 3 months. They range from 6inch to 11inch. Still struggling to train the monos to take grey prawns that i buy from the local wet market. The tems don't see to have problem with Hikari massivore (they sometimes still do spit it oout), floating arrowana palettes(which they love but dirties the water) and market prawns.
On the other hand, the Monos only prefer live feeder fish which i feed once a fortnight. Recently, I decided to stop feeding live feeders and been alternating between market prawns and hikari pellets. Any advice on how i can train the Monos to accept market prawns more readily? The tems are too fast, they just snatch up the prawns when they hit the water. The monos don't seem as excited.
Sorry for the long story, but I just wanted to explained the issue in detail.
Any suggestions would be welcomed!
Cheers!
