My office has zero natural light. I wanted to put in a koi pond, but I understand they really benefit from natural light. Are there other options for ponds... fish, turtles, etc or other artificial lighting options?

Metal halide lighting is the way to go, it may cost more to run than led but way better spectrum imo.
I'd probably go out and have three - four contractors come in and give a quote. Ask them for lighting recommendations, size and materials for the pond, etc. You might find that it's better overall to get someone else to build it, but worse case, you get some free ideas on how much lighting you will need.
Look into led flood lights that are 6500k that should do the trick. If they grow plants like crazy they will do just fine
