Need Advice : Need some colorful/pretty fish

I have a 170G freshwater tank w/ the following:

- 6 clown loaches (sz 4"-6")
- 1 delhezi bichir (6")
- 1 ansorgii bichir (11")
- 1 tigrinus catfish (6")

Running 2 Eheim 2228 cansiter filters with one attached to a coralife sterilizer.

Question: Need to add some colorful pretty fish (my wife says my fish look like those from the market).

What species do you experts recommend?

The Tigrinus would eat all the neons eventually, since I initially fed it guppies. I thought about neon tetras before.

How about Frontosas or Discus?????

Large frontosa would be nice but not discus. even thou they are much nicer but the requirements are diff. They need fresh warm water to be healthy.

Could be burundi frontosas.
