I've been really considering getting one, I have a 125g with a 15" RTC and a 20g with a 3" RTC and RTCXTSN and thought about getting a small small small Arowana to go in the 20g grow out tank. I don't want to feel live goldfish or feeders other than ghost shrimp because I don't want my cats eating the feeders as I've already had problems in doing so and I know what to feed them so please don't dog me on that. A little advice on if it's a good idea or not and how I could avoid problems if I did get one?!? Thank you!!

An arowana would be a great tankmate for a red tail and hybrid but a 125 would keep an arowana happy for a only year or two. Eventually you will new to get rid of it or get a bigger tank. Your catfish will get way too big too so you're gonna have a tank of monsters haha.

Yeah I know! Haha I'm in the process of drawing up plans for a 12'x4'x4' indoor pond. The big cat will go in there, the little guys will go in the 125 till they're too big for it then into the pond. I may go bigger and go 15'x8'x4. But the 12 footer will fit perfectly on the living room wall right under the tv! Lol
