Hi everyone, I just recently added some java ferns and java moss to my 125g, I realized that I haven't changed my lighting for awhile so I thought I should replace my 2 24" flourescent bulbs. I went to home depot and picked up 2 t12 bulbs that said "for plants and aquariums" on the package. After turning it made my water look tannin stained and pretty much filthy, the lights gave off an ugly redish glow so I returned them to the store. I then picked up 2 t12s that said "clean white" on the package I just turned the lights on and it made my water and white sand look yellow, so I took them out. The old bulbs I have in now are t8s and they make the water look crystal clear without adding any tinge of colour to the tank. Can someone please give me advice on what bulbs I should buy? Would just normal "full -spectrum daylight" do the trick?
sorry if this was hard to understand and thanks to all that reply!

FSD bulbs will be fine. They should be around 6500K-6700K, which is close to the color spectrum of actual sunlight, something you'll want to emulate if you want the plants to grow to their peak.
