need advice on motoro stingray

he has a red raw looking spot on his underside not sure if it is a parasite.and he has been breathing heavy. i have turned up his heat to 86 and turned off lights i have attached a pic hoping someone can give me some info and what type of med a should use. he is still eating fine

are there any other rays in the tank? i wounder if it got stung... or any shedded stingers?

there was a female with him up until 3 days ago .but had to remove her as he decided he wanted to try breeding and she is only a year old

depending on the species and size of her she might be able to... if she is a motoro and is 10-12" she prolly could, i wounder if she stung him

they are both motoro his disc size is aprox 11-12 and she is only 8

add salt 3# per 100 gallons... do a large water change prior to adding salt.. some mela and pima in combo wont hurt either...
