By outdoor pond i mean a natural pond, in a forest but very secret. It is about 50ft in diameter and 6 ft deep in the middle. It is fairly clean and already contains frogs, painted turtles and a local heron. CAN I PUT ANY KIND OF FISH INTO THE POND? IF SO WHAT KIND? ph level is about 6.5

You can always put some native sunfish in there

well you can always go with mequito fish, some feeder goldfish,
and maybe might think about not putting anything very expensive like koi because the heron will eat them

Don't put mosquito fish in the pond if you like the frogs. They will eat the frog's eggs. The frogs seem to know this and will leave for a more hospitable home.
If it's a natural pond I wouldn't add anything that is not native to the area. If it ever floods this could be extremely important.

Natives only really...

intersting idea putting bass.... i could actually fish there... My friend thinks he can throw a rod in the water and catch a great white shark. lol, where can i get bass besides catching them?

Besides catching them, you could try local hatcheries in your state or you could order them in from other hatcheries. Many hatcheries won't ship, but will offer truck delivery service or pick up. Try Schultz's Fish Hatchery; it may be in PA, but it's only about 2.5 hours from where you are if you wanted to do pickup.
