Need advice please

Looking to make a filter for my new 425 gl outside stock tank.I was going to use a 5gl bucket but then I remembered Alga scrubbers.What do you think I should use.This tank is for 200+ 1" CA fry for the summer.The stop where the tank will sit will be in the sun tell noon and shade the rest of the day

If I go with alga scrubber how much % sun do I need or how many hrs of direct sunlight is needed to work.I feed insane ab mounts of frozen blood worms to these guys.

I have started building the algae scrubber.The screen is 33.5" x 12" with 2 700gph pump that will feed it.Will take more pictures today as I finish the build

Oh I seeded the algae scrubber.Hope it will work for me
