Need advice.. TSN

this is the deal..

my current tank: about 300 gallons, 7X30X30

I am being given a 10ish" TSN from some people that would make me consider this a rescue..

I plan on getting a 500-600 G tank within a year or so 10X3X2,5.. (have the cash and the drawings.. in discussion with the builder whether to go 2,5 feet high and 15mm glass or 2 feet high and go 12mm glass..

well.. Could I keep him for life in the big tank or should I give him up? I already have 2 silver aros so I have no choice than to get the big tank anyways..

i would go with a foot plan of 8x4x3...... just to give the cat more room to turn and to swim up.

unfortunately I wont have that width to play with.. one meter is the maximum.. and since I have to get it through doors I can only go 70-75 cm high..

soo.. what do you say catfish-people?

hmm.. ok.. I would hate to get rid of it.. but hell.. I only own a chaka chaka so why not.. catfish here I come! :D
