Got a good deal on this glass tank. Owner was looking to go rimless and cut out euro bracing. 60x27x24. I have the coast to coast front & rear bracing pieces, but not the sides. Can I use the two and just make 3 braces front to back. Both sides & one center? 1/2" glass all around.

It may be because it's not clear what you're asking. You have eurobrace for the length of the tank but not the width - is that what you meant?

I think it would be best to have all around plus cross brace. I've not built a erubraced tank, but Id imagine youd need a minimal safety factor given the glass thickness and tank dimensions.

Exactly. I have the legth (front & rear) but not the width (either side).
Was thinking maybe I could cannibalize the long pieces and make 3 shorter braces (left and right side with a center brace).

I had a 125 with this exact (both sides and center) bracing along with plastic rim that the lids sat on.

For such a tank, and given glass thickness, I would go for complete Euro bracing, plus 3 front to back bracing. I will also think about bracing at the inside-bottom of the tank, assuming its not present.
