Hi,
i am currently setting up an 8x4x3 FGT. i have 6 asian aros, about 20 various carps (i dont know what are they called in english), 1 pleco and 15 unknowns.(they look like piranhas, looks quite solid as compared to silver dollars).. all are in my 5.5x2.5x2.5..
Q1 ) would all this be enough for the FGT or would the FGT still look empty?
i want the middle section of the FGT to have fishes too.. im thinking
of adding a few patins.. 5 perhaps?
Q2 ) im sure the current stock would produce a heavy bioload, would i
need to reduce the stock or just keep it as it is? im planning to use
a 6x2x2 with 4 compartments as the FGT's sump. 220kgs of Bioring.
would 220kgs be sufficient?
Q3 ) 1st compartment jap mats, 2nd compartment biorings, 3rd biorings,
4th compartment return pumps and uv sterilizer. comments?
i would need all the help i can get from everybody here.
Thank you in advance.:D

David is from KL too.. prob you could pm him with your queries.. pretty resourceful and helpful guy.. i'm constructing my 2400 gallon arowana pond based on his design.. though i've made some changes to fit me..

and excuse my ignorance, FGT???

I def. feel you are overstocked.. but its your call on it :) could you post some pics of your current setups?

all the best.. cheers
