NEED ADVISE

I bought a uv sterilizer today ( turbo twist coralife ) i was wondering which is the best way to use this , i can run a hose from a power head to it and back into the tank or can i just cut my ehiem canister filters out take line and put it on there . which would be better ??? or do i put it on the intake line ?

Howdy,

Take a look at what flow rate your sterilizer is rated for. That might make your decision.

Just make sure you run the line through the filter first because it will keep the quartz sleeve cleaner and protects is from anything that can scratch it.
