55 gallon and 4 in

That Jag is going to need a bigger tank in the future. As far as aggression that is dependent on the individual fish, but you could possibly add ditchers large enough he cant eat or small and cheap enough for you to continuously replenish. But I wouldnt add anything else until you find your Jag a bigger tank.

wanting it to become more aggressive is odd... well, not odd, but not good in any way. the jag is already an aggressive fish.

Cause i like aggressive fish!!!!!!!!

Maybe you should get another fish.

I have a 10" Jag, and he wouldn't hurt a fly. Heck, he's afraid of worms!

I've kept a few Jags and they generally are quite timid while young. Once they hit around 5" they become more aggressive. You really can't expect for a baby fish to always act as an adult. You will also need a bigger tank. A 55 is not big enough at all. You'll see what I mean in 6-7 months.

If you want an aggressive fish, you will need to buy an adult, or let them grow.

Baby fish are not going to be as territorial and antisocial as adults.

Also, in a tank that size, once he's full grown he will be too cramped to be aggressive. A 12" fish in a 48x12" tank isn't really going to have much room to make sudden movements.
