Need alittle HELP, on my fish

I have a proven breeding pair of Lamprologus LeLoupi and i have made some breeding spots for them by making a hole in clay pots and it seems that the male runs the female out and now she wont go in at all. They are about the same size and ive tryed 3 different sized holes and nothing seems to work. So, now the famle hides in the plant that i hve floating on the top of the tank.

ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HINTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED
