Need an i/d on this fish?

hi im new to the whole aquarium scene. and recently purchased a pair of cichlids that where supposed to be red peacocks. but when i got home and did my research they looked nothing like red peacocks. and ive been trying to find a similair looking fish but have had no luck. so heres a picture of them and if someone could tell me what i have i would greatly appreciate it. thanks.

yea i think your right. or a midas but basically the same fish. well thats a bummer....definently not what i needed. plus there agressivness and how big they get will not work in my 55 gallon tank. hopefully the local store will take them back because they charged me for red peacocks at $16 and where gonna go $20.....well thanks i appreciate the help.

Most likely rd/midas hybrid, as any that are not purchased through a reputable dealer usually are. They are so similar, that the lines have been crossed somewhere in the hobby.
