was told is a Red Devil Sword but with some looking
Echinodorus Red Devil seems to be the name for it but
even still info about it seems slim?

Second is some type of sword plant. Easy to grow but can get quite large.

Thanks, Would you say the sword is a quick or slow grower? Hope to grow quite a bit of it. ;D
Depends on nutrients, light and CO2 concentrations. Given the right conditions they grow very fast.
Yes they grow quick. The #1 thing I learned with plants is PATIENCE! Expect to wait 3-4 months or more for most plants to reach their full potential. The first month or so plants will melt and die off then grow back. Injecting Co2 will accelerate growth by about 3-4x in most situations. Remember that most moderately Aquariums are co2 defficient. Therefore the plants will slow growth to a near stop like a traffic jam. But add some more driving lanes and it wont be so congested. The same goes for co2.
