Not that I can tell-
He was just dropped off to me yesterday-I was not there...Is is getting ran about the tank by my female dovii though-But will be seperated tomarrow...

But he doesn't look all beatup to me-Even in person it's hard to tell....But never seeing this fish before-I'm unasure really...

Looks Tanganyikan maybe a neolamprologus of some sort? Not sure though...sorry I am no help....

Looks like Oreochromis to me. I was thinking at first a variant of Oreochromis tanganicae..
And then found this... Looks similar..

What ever it is It definitely looks to have one of the Oreochromis species involved...

You can also click on the picture in the link and it will give a long story about how the fish in the link came about... I don;t know about actual origination of which species of ATilapia as I stopped reading

Which genre and species I have no idea but definitely a Tilapia.

Oreochromis mossambicus would be my guess.....
