well i've decided to try my fist african tank for a change from my american cichlids.
i picked these 2 guys up earlier but am not 100% sure what they are, i am sure these guys are pretty common but i've never read up too much on africans.
is the blue guy a peacock?
btw can anyone tell me about a "nyeri pumadilla" i think i spelled that completely wrong. he was about 4" and had a whole bunch of teeth and seemed like he didn't have lips, the lfs said he was pretty rare.

thank you so much for the links, very helpful.
the pic of the Astatotilapia latifasciata looks like mine did in the store,i guess he'll color back up.
thanks again

The names that I have always seen these guys as is (keep in mind my mentor is way old school and goes by the names that they were back in his day) Haplochromis "dayglo" zebra, and Electric blue "Haplochromis" the bright blue guy is going to be awesome just wait! I would dump the zebra if it is close to 4 inches it is probably female and will net get any color more than it has right now!!! nice pick up on the electric blue...
