Not a carp. Some kind of sucker it seems. Caught on Lake Toho, FL. No barbells were present on its mouth. Most suckers that I have seen have an elongated dorsal fin.

I assure you its not a chub. Chub have very tiny scales and look practically scaleless. This must be some kind of sucker I would assume.
 
Lake Chubsucker, they are only one species that could be found in Florida. Quite common forage fish species.

This isn't a chub but actually a chubsucker. All American chub species do not have a sucker mouth, only chubsuckers have a sucker mouth. There are no chub species presented in Lake Toho, Florida and Florida do not have any chub species.
 
Lake chubsucker it is. Well done. Decent for largemouth bait, although I prefer golden shiners.
