Rio Negro
Is this a snakehead? It was found on the edge of a pond that has just thawed from being frozen all winter. I'm sure it died months ago when temps started to drop in the fall.

People around here are having a hissy fit as if the lakes and ponds are full of these things now. Idiots.

This is why perfectly fine species for aquariums get banned.

Either a snakehead or a bichir at least thats what it's seems to be.]

EDIT: Teeth seem a little big for it to be a bichir

Ever notice hosw some of the location's listed in peoples' profiles don't make much sense like "Location: Quaratine Tank"?

I'm not really in the Rio Negro, that's where I'd like to be. The fish was found in Brigham City, UT.

I'm not an expert, but doesn't look like snakehead... More like wolf fish

Those teeth look to big for a Northern snakehead.

Almost looks like a Short body Cuda :D
