need and ID and help with getting him to eat

well as the subject says
i need and id on this guy
and also any tips on getting him to eat





i got him about 3 weeks ago and he is about 3-4 inches
he is not eating a thing and is starting to loss weight. i really dont want him to get hooked on live food but i really need him to eat somthing.

any ideas or do i continue with the starving regement i have an oscar and CK with him both eating prepared food

That fish is sexy. I would say give him live then try market shrimp for like 4 days if not continue the process over

feed him live for right now. when you feed it make sure it knows that its you that's giving it food. that way it'll be more comfortable around you. (since it's been starved for so long, it might be stressed out and uncomfortable in your tank) after a couple of days throw in a feeder and once it's swallowed it and ready for another feeder throw in a piece of shrimp and see if it'll eat it. It should at least try it and spit it out if it doesn't swallow it right away. IF that doesnt work then repeat the process. This works for most finicky eaters. good luck
