need another midsized bichir!

i have a few senegal and delhezi. i was gonna buy an ornate yesterday at the lfs but remembered it'll get a couple feet long. i have a 125 im not using for fish but that's probably too small.

i've read all the names of bichirs that are ~14'' but they mean nothing to me.

anybody recommend another mellow, ~14'' max bichir? palmas perhaps?

Polli palmas, Buttikoferi palmas, palmas palmas, more delhezis, retropinnis. I have a bunch full of delhezi and polli palmas. They're all activity and no fighting activity at all.

polli palmas specifically are high activity no fighting? i'd like to have one of those. i'd like more variety than anything. i have two delhezi already.

yes palmas polli and palmas buettikoferi can both grow to ~14". palmas palmas may be a tad smaller. Of the three subspecies, i'd say the polli has the fastest growth (in fact i'd call the other two slow grower), and the polli is also generally the most active of all bichirs, along with senegal. The other two subspecies are almost the opposite and enjoy their hiding spots instead.
