Need Bait For Sharks advice please!

Hey,

Well lets start off that Im in florida and we do a lot of fishing on Jensen Beach. Well now I want to target sharks.....Black Tips. I know how to make a rig do to research and vids.

The bait shops here have pretty much large squids, mullet, ballyhoo and thats it.


I could probably catch live bait, but I dont know what to consider good bait and how to catch them. Thanks a million
 
REmora and bonita are very good bait. Just go to any pier or marina and you will probably be able to gets some for free of buy some off the fishermen.
 
cut bait off bottom any of the baits you mentioned will work i like mullet or catfish for shark bait myself
 
Up North we use blue fish, butter fish, pogies, and skipjack tuna.
 
Also if your pier fishing try to go to some florida fishing forums and ask the locals.

lmfao well today I got my pole and reel ready...well today I didn't try shark fishing because not prepared bait wise yet but I caught a little stingray. They hard to take the hook out, while avoiding the stinger. Any advice would be nice.

Well as for bait Im guessing Im going to try numerous baits....the ones listed above of coarse.
 
cut ray is like candy at certain times of year. my days says its bc the ray spawn but im not sure. i just know it works
