hello, just looking for some info on breeding.I dont know much about it and looking for anything to help.Ill start with what i have right now.I have a albino zebra that was holding fish in her mouth and i didnt know what it was at first untill i looked up some things and figured it out.For a few days the fish seemed to be really stressed out.So i took the fish out and put it in a 10 gal tank that i have and i watch the fish for about an hour. Then i left and came back and what a surprise about 9 tiny fish sitting around looking good so far.But i dont know what or how to feed them.Im thinking some flake but i dont know and do i keep the female in there. So any info would help and if you need more info from me just ask me, thanks.

You can also fed the new guys with BBS { baby brine shrimp } it's better for them and has loads of protein in them to help them to grow faster. I have a few links to how to grow your own BS hope they help.

Also if the little guys are free swimming you could remove the mom as long as they are eating on there own and swimming. It's usually best with zebra's to remove the mom as soon as they are able to swimming. Must of the time the mom want eat as long as she has the fry in her mouth.
I've been breeding Apisto's and Kribs and Betta's for over a yr. Now and have found that if you don't have Brine shrimp you can also fed them boiled egg yolk. I have a link for that as well. But it shows to add the egg yolk by using ice trays. I have found it easyer to just get my thum wet and rub it onto the yolk and then add what comes off to the tank. Not to much thou as it will cloud the water if to much yolk is added to the water.
