Need catfish

Hi guys,

I'm just looking for some suggestions for an active cat.

Here comes the tricky part: Size should be 8"-12", not too small, not too big.

I own a Pimelodus ornatus already, pretty cat and proper size.

Just throw some suggestions my way. Thanks for your help.

look for some of the other pimelodus species blochii would be a good one active right in your size range and should go we'll with an ornatus also maculatus is anouther good one but is on the small side

i have a 9 inch sun catfish that swims around all day so they would probably work

I'll give another 1+ for Pim Blochii. They are great and should work well with the Ornatus.

Rapps has some "Vulture cats" available. They grow to about 15" or so, and are active and eat anything and everything. Good looking too. AKA Calophysus Macropterus. I got one about 2 weeks ago and love it.
